Certificates, lists and publications, chiefly, 1944-2003. Most of the collection relates to his service in the Naval Armed Guard in SS Lawrence D. Tyson, 1944-1945, including copies of photographs of the ship's crew, lists of merchant ships where Naval Armed Guard won battle stars, newspaper clippings, and newsletters of the Naval Armed Guard Association.

William P. Raimo was born in Medford, MA in October 1925. He was a ship fitter assistant at the Boston Navy Yard before he entered the Navy at age seventeen.
